Old My Friend

           “My Old Friend”

Twenty year’s went by without a blink of eye

We laughed together and at each other’s crazy messes we got into

We cried on each other’s shoulders

Now I am sick and dying and my best friend is gone

As I am sorry we went our different way’s

But you didn’t understand my disease and how it affects my body

The thing’s you said was harsh but I have to forgive you and I’ll never forget about them

It was me always making the sacrifice to see you and hang and chill out and you never could attempt to return the favor to me

As I even claimed you as my real sister

But it’s funny to find that the person hiding behind the shadows was a bad person and hell who knew because you had me fooled

Now as you get older and me to you will never know when I am dead and gone

Because now we have bad blood between us and that a temporary friendship would die without me knowing why or the actual cause why

But baby girl you will reap what you sow and I hope I am around to see it to
